For people who use notepad to write down any info on a day to day basis
(//like diary//):
1. Open a blank Notepad file
2. Write .LOG as the first line of the file, followed by a enter. Save
the file and close it.
3. Double-click the file to open it and notice that Notepad appends the
current date and time to the end of the file and places the cursor on
the line after.
4. Type your notes and then save and close the file.
5. Each time you open the file, Notepad repeats the process, appending
the time and date to the end of the file and placing the cursor below it.

sere r many more...actually i hav heard dat since de r imp DOS commands so d problem occurs...u'l get 2 know wen u do it urself.
CON, PRN, AUX, CLOCK$, NUL, COM1, COM2, COM3, COM4, COM5, COM6, COM7, COM8, COM9, LPT1, LPT2, LPT3, LPT4, LPT5, LPT6, LPT7, LPT8, and LPT9:
reserved words cannot be straightaway used as folder names to avoid confusion within windows
con is for console
AUX is the same as COMx, communication port
PRN is the same as LPTx which is for the printer port
CLOCK$ is no longer a reserved word in Windows2K and later releases. It is a reserved word on WinNT and Win9x platforms.
So windows has already got dedicated purposes for these keywords.
These con lpt1 and etc etc names can't b given 4m windows NEW FOLDR option but it can b done 4m command prompts..n u hv to delete it by DOS commands as wel...so its jst dat windows explorer dusnt accpt dose names
C:\>mkdir \\.\c:\con
remmber u can't delete it easily it has to b deleted by
C:> rd \\.\c:\con
[ASSUMING U HV "C" DRIVE].

it can not be change from here and cannot delete too....
it can be done by Registry easily ...just follow the steps :
Open the registry, START --> RUN --> Type 'Regedit'
Locate the registry key as below :
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE --> SOFTWARE --> Microsoft --> Windows NT --> CurrentVersion
On the right panel you will see two keys named, 'RegisteredOwner' & 'RegisteredOrganization'....change these values as you want....
(The above given key is for Windows NT/2000/XP users)

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE --> SOFTWARE --> Microsoft --> Windows --> CurrentVersion
now follow the steps
After creating any change in the windows registry.....must Restart your computer.

6>Here are a few things that will speed up Firefox:
In the Firefox address field, type "about:config" and search for the following values
network.http.pipelining -- set it to "true"
network.http.pipelining.maxrequests -- set it to "12" (or higher)
network.http.proxy.pipelining -- set it to "true"
Now create the following:
Boolean -- network.http.pipelining.firstrequest -- set to "true"
Integer -- nglayout.initialpaint.delay -- set to "0"
And you should then notice a much faster Firefox!

Step 5: Open the file again.

3. save it as whatever you want
4. close the file
5. now re-open the file.....
